Junior Designer
Bluefly Inc., New York City
Bluefly.com, a leading online outlet for designer fashion and home
furnishings, has a position available for a Junior Designer to join the
Design Team. This individual will work closely with the Creative
Director, and the Marketing and eCommerce teams, to produce highly
visible web and print designs for Bluefly’s ecommerce site, marketing
materials, packaging, and collateral materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support in process of design, conceptualization, and production of online and print projects.
•
Must be able to complete "design in progress" projects ensuring
continuity in look and feel of that particular project and Bluefly
brand.
• Produce projects using InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Design and production of ad banners following guidelines stipulated by Creative Director.
• Ability to help with coding emails and producing alternate versions of pre approved layouts.
• Organize images and files in server, photo studio web site as well as perform updates in the Design Library.
• Ability to collaborate and team with other designers and take directions from Creative Director.

Provide support in planning and execution of model and still life photo
shoots by gathering necessary items for shoot and helping in house
stylist organize samples if necessary.Posted by Megan
