Responsibilities:
• Design all aspects of product, including packaging. Research & test all products (before and after production) to assure products meet company standards.
• Market & Design Research – Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s needs, competitive products, and windows of opportunities for new product development.
• Maintain consistency within brand through development and implementation of graphic standards manual with colleagues.
• Create market impact while considering appropriateness of design and ensuring a quality appearance.
• Product development from conception stage through completion. Participation in meetings with Product Manager, Design Director and team members.
• Support new product execution and development.
• Design brand specific displays and merchandising solutions.
• Test and craft products as part of development process.
• Mock-up product and packaging prior to sampling for pre-sale.
• Travel domestically and abroad may be required.
• Ongoing quality test and continuous improvement on active SKUs.
• Assist in other areas as assigned.
• Extended hours expected to meet goals and deadlines
