Presidential Order: Printer Tackles 1M Inauguration Invites
As federal officials prepare for a crowd of about 4 million for the inauguration of the 44th president, Barack Obama, history is about to be made.
And a printing company, Precise Continental in Brooklyn, New York, played their part in the fanfare (as well as Neenah and Buzzink) by printing 1 million official invitations for the inauguration—engraved and complete with the inaugural gold seal.
The union shop’s story appeared in the
New York Times
as well as other local and national media outlets. The folks at Precise Continental reflect proudly of their involvement and they praise Obama for sticking to his guns when it came to selecting a FSC (
Forest Stewardship Council
) certified printer.
