A #1, Top of the Heap
Posted by Bryn
How we missed posting about this yesterday when we got the news release (when we did manage to write it up for Monday's email newsletter), we don't know. Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, has announced the recipients of the 2007 National Design Award: architect Antoine Predock, urban planners Denise Scott Brown and Robert Venturi, designer Chip Kidd, visual futurist Frank Chin, architects Office dA, product designer Jonathan Ive, software developer Adobe Systems, textile company Maharam, landscape designers PWP Landscape Architecture, fashion designer Rick Owens and interior designers Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis. The awards will be presented at a gala dinner in October.
