Junior Art Director/Graphic Designer
André Balazs Properties, New York City
André Balazs Properties is a world renowned boutique hotel company consisting of The Standard Hotels in New York, LA, and Miami, The Raleigh in Miami, The Mercer in New York, Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, and Sunset Beach on Long Island. This position works out of the corporate office in New York.
Responsibilities:
• Variations or expansions on existing brand identities including marketing, sales and event materials
• Create presentation materials for marketing, development and sales teams
• Support of web based applications and website development / play an
active role in website planning and innovation
• Update website through CMS system. Create supplemental flash pages.
Update HTML code pages.
• Update and redesign existing menu concepts at hotel restaurants
• Assist with property signage, collateral design and production
• Design email and printed marketing and sales promotions
• Create Advertisement mechanicals for print publications
• Design Invitations (digital and printed) for hotel events
• Design Advertisements for Trade Publications
• Work closely with art directors on concept, design, and
finalize all components of a project
• Maintain the company’s graphic design and photography archives
• Image research
