Letterpress Mini Doc
If you've never seen a letterpress in action, you must watch this short documentary about
Firefly Press
. It really captures the feeling of the process, one that I enjoy immensely.

thanks for this marvelous trip down memory lane. i was there, then, and now i am here, with my mac and all the wonderful digital advances in the printing industry. firefly press brings back the more tactile feelings of creativity we once had when we were so physically (and mentally) involved with the type, even the rhythms of the press. somehow the paper spewing out of my laser printer doesn't have the same musical quality to it.

That was amazing! I'm a stickler about my typography because I learned a bit of old school typesetting in school. Such an appreciation for the details.
