Critique Services: A New Resource for Designers

2012 November 6

With an ongoing commitment to serving the design community, it is with great pride that HOW and Print announce the launch of Design Critique Services, a new resource for thoughtful feedback and constructive criticism of design projects and portfolios.

HOW and Print worked with Design Critique Services to assemble a team of industry veterans who will work with designers one-on-one to provide customized feedback and advice. They’ll be available to help support designers and the goals they have for their work, and put them in a better position to hit a homerun with a client, or land that promotion or dream job.

Design Critique Services currently has two offerings. A Works-in-Progress Critique ($99.99) includes a professional review of a project followed by expert feedback and tailored advice. This service is ideal for designers just starting out, or freelancers and in-house designer working in a small setting, as it provides a creative counterpart to discuss work with.

Design Critique Services also offers Portfolio Reviews ($199.99). A well-crafted portfolio is often a designer’s best asset when seeking a new job or promotion. Incorporating professional feedback into the final product, regardless of the career stage, ensures they’re putting their best foot forward. Critique Services reviewers will provide a high-level portfolio review, with specific suggestions and recommendations on how to improve overall presentation, and leave the designer with techniques to help guide continued growth and development.
