Illustrated Journey Interview: Liz Steel
The other day I posted about Danny Gregory’s video interviews with travel sketchers featured in his new book An Illustrated Journey. The project gives you a chance to hear, first hand, the experiences of illustrators, designers and artists from varied backgrounds and schools of thought. It’s a great compliment to the insightful essays that appear in the book.

And now, as promised, here’s his first interview! This one is with architect and world-traveler Liz Steel. She talks a bit about the inspiration and experiences that have allowed her to fill upwards of 100 sketchbooks in six years.
