Apparently the Bigstock folks are quite excited about their brand-spankin-new website, with a new interface and navigation system that allows designers to search the whopping 4.5 million+ image collection. Shutterstock, which acquired the royalty-free image provider last year, consulted on the site overhaul.
To test-drive the new site, we typed “black dog red collar” into the search box, and boom! The resulting 78 images popped up quickly and showed a range of photos and illustrations (some with tan or multicolored pups, but still a good collection). Bigstock lets designers buy credits, which can then be applied toward photos, illustrations and vector graphics.
