Tesser, an award-winning, San Francisco-based brand strategy and design firm, is looking to add an experienced Senior Designer to its team. We are a tight-knit, hard-working agency with exciting national-level brand imaging projects specifically focused in consumer goods and restaurant/retail design. We are a tight-knit, hard-working agency with exciting national-level brand imaging projects specifically focused in consumer goods and restaurant/retail design.

About You
You have extensive trademark development, consumer packaging and general graphic design experience with large, national clients and have played senior roles on branding agency design teams. You like to work collaboratively on complex assignments, and are a hands-on designer who demonstrates sensitivity to priorities and project schedules regarding tight deadlines. Ideally, you already have significant experience designing for retail and/or consumer product clients and potentially some experience designing the in-store/environmental experience.

About the Position
As a Senior Designer, you will work under the guidance of the Creative Director to develop and implement the creative vision for each of your primary assignments. You’ll develop and refine concepts, present recommendations to clients, and execute on and supervise creative execution through printing or fabrication. On top of initiating, refining, and substantiating design concepts, you’ll supervise and ensure the execution of error-free mechanical art-work, develop and coordinate design standards guidelines (e.g. exhibits, text), prepare prototypes and designs for client presentations, and work with multiple types of vendors to solve design and production challenges.
